Hello, I'm Lucy.

I'm a Pembrokeshire-based photographer with a lifelong love (and slight obsession) for horses.

My love for horses began when I was little. My sister and I would spend hours playing together, dreaming up our own riding school - complete with lessons for our imaginary clients and horses cut out from magazines. We were lucky enough to grow up having lessons at a local riding centre, and like so many horse-mad kids, I wished for a horse of my own every birthday and Christmas.

It wasn’t until I was 27 that that dream finally became reality. After loaning Archie for three years during the pandemic, I was given the chance to make him mine before he was offered for sale. It’s hard to put into words what he means to me. We’ve been through our share of highs and lows, and he’s been a constant through it all. He’s taught me to be unapologetically myself - and not to worry about what others think. After all, horses don’t judge. They don’t care how you look or what you do, as long as you make them feel safe.

That’s why I understand just how much those quiet, fleeting moments with your horse mean. They’re not “just a horse” - they’re a part of your heart.

My photography is about capturing that connection: the honesty, the trust, and the bond that words can’t quite express.
